The Diocese of Palayamkottai is currently without a bishop. The cause may only be opened by the local bishop of the diocese where the candidate died.
We prayerfully await the appointment of the new Bishop of Palayamkottai, in whose hands the possibility of opening this cause rests.
Bishop Iruthayaraj has not yet been declared Servant of God. This title is granted only upon the formal opening of a cause.
